Rayneman’s Terms is, quite simply, a window to the world from my point of view. In this space, we’ll be talking about various things from art, literature, music, and pop culture; sometimes I’ll be using that as a springboard for broader discussions about life and society. Expect to see content ranging from animation (anime and Western), film, comics and manga, music, hip-hop culture, games, cuisine, sports, books, world events, or even memes; everything we create as humans is derived from real life and zeitgeist anyway, so what better way to understand and encapsulate this unique lifetime we exist in than to talk about it through the things we love and hate?
This is a project that I’ve been meaning to launch for many years now. This was supposed to be a platform for the various reviews I intended to write, but the currents of time made me lose interest in writing as I prioritized other stuff that was going on in my life. As I regain my time, my passion, and my voice, I come to you, not as a person of high taste or credentials, but as a humble enjoyer of things and encoder of fleeting experiences.
As you walk through this garden with me, just keep in mind that I’m no expert in anything that I tackle, and none of my opinions are meant to be taken as fact. If that’s okay with you, you’re free to stick around and smell the flowers and the trees.
